We are organising a competition to take place in the early December. Anyone can join, we have several robots to borrow you, apply now! Application closes 6th November 2016!

BARC (Birmingham Autonomous Robotics Club) connects students from the University of Birmingham with an interest in robotic applications. We are based in the School of Computer Science but anyone can join us. Especially, students from the School of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering and the School of Mechanical Engineering are more than welcomed, but also Business students, graphics, etc... There is more than just programming to do!

BARC was established more than four years ago in the School of Computer Science in order to give a chance to students to have access to expensive robotic equipment and learn about this amazing field. We participate in numerous public engagement and outreach events,  we regularly organise hands-on robotic tutorials/workshops. Most importantly, we have put the University of Birmingham in the map of successful universities in the high profile robotic competition RoCKIn@Home by taking 3rd overall place in 2016 round and winning other 3 sub-tasks in 2015 and 2016. And we do not plan to stop! Join us or contact us to know more!
